FTP/Secure FTP Connection

About

The FTP/Secure FTP Connection is used to link TrueContext to your FTP or Secure FTP server. This allows the use of the FTP/Secure FTP (SFTP) Data Destination to route submitted form data, and use of the FTP/Secure FTP Data Source to fill/update data sourcesClosed Data sources, also known as "Lookups", are external sources of data that you upload or connect to TrueContext. You can reference this data in a form to populate answers or answer options. Data sources save typing, reduce errors, and make it easy to provide mobile users with only the relevant, most current data.. Note that the Connection will only be used if referenced in the FTP/Secure FTP Data Destination/Data Source configuration.

Many modern cloud storage services now support the FTP protocols, including services such as Egnyte secure enterprise file sharing and others. If TrueContext doesn't provide a native connection for your storage service of choice, you might be able to use the FTP/Secure FTP Connection for your Data Sources and Data DestinationsClosed A Data Destination specifies where to send data from a submitted form. You can use Data Destinations to automate data sharing and storage, routing data to a specific service (such as email or cloud storage) in several different formats.. Check with your preferred service to see if they support FTP.

Enterprise and Cloud ConnectionsClosed A Connection is an integration point that's used to link a TrueContext Data Source or Data Destination to an external service to import or export data. Data Destinations and Data Sources that share the same external service can also share the same Connection. link to external services from which data sources can import data, and to which data destinations can route data. Read more about Connections here.
